Powder pickling inhibitor to be used in sulfuric acid pickling baths for any type of steel, ideal for wire coils or rod bundles.

Product Overview

BONDERITE® S-AD 55 (Known as RODINE 55)  acid inhibitor is designed for sulfuric acid steel pickling to protect substrate during the pickling process.  This powder additive contains a wetting agent which allows pickling solution to penetrate wire coils or rod bundles.  The wetting agent also minimizes pickling bath mist and fuming by creating a foam blanket.

Applications

BONDERITE® S-AD 55 is a powdered inhibitor designed for use in conventional sulfuric acid pickling operations up to 190° Fahrenheit. 
It should be added as uniformly as possible over the entire surface of the bath with stirring for dispersion.
